      Position:
      D-Wave is seeking a co-op student to join our Human Resources team for a full time, 4-month contract from September to December 2023. Reporting to the Senior Total Rewards Specialist, you will be tasked with contributing to a variety of hands-on tasks that range across different HR disciplines
      The student will have the opportunity to working in a fast-paced, yet flexible tech environment that foster collaboration and teamwork. The student will work alongside experienced HR professionals who are dedicated to support your professional growth. We are looking for a passionate individual who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our team.

      Responsibilities

      • Contribute and own administrative and process improvement projects
      • Manage data accuracies and flow for our current HR systems (BambooHR, Lever)
      • Coordinate new hire onboarding and offboarding activities
      • Responsible for Co-op recruitment for the Winter 2024 term
      • Assist with payroll and benefits administration
      • Be a partner in HR projects as assigned (and there will be lots!)

      Qualifications

      • Enrolled in or a recent grad of a Human Resources post-secondary program, or equivalent experience
      • Previous co-op or relevant work experience
      • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Outlook
      • Curious and driven
      • Ability to work independently
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Self-motivated, proactive, flexible and passionate about learning
      • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
      • Ability and willingness to effectively work remotely and at the office
      • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
